We have developed these tools that are essential to Dr. Schnarch's innovative approach to therapy which he recently demonstrated on Dateline NBC. Furthermore these newly created Crucible® instruments are greatly needed in the field of couple and sex therapy.

Your involvement in this study is completely confidential. It should take about 20-45 minutes of your time. If you are interested in participating, simply click on the link below to complete the survey:

In order to make sure that these two instruments are reliable and valid with a large and diverse population, we would greatly appreciate it if you would cut and paste the link on to your website or forward it to your friends. We want a diverse population in terms of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age and gender!

    Prime-Time One-Hour TV Special

    DATELINE-NBC TV "SEXLESS MARRIAGE" SHOW
    Aired July 14th 2006

Over two years ago, Dateline-NBC TV contacted Dr. Schnarch to collaborate on a project about sexual desire problems among married couples. Over the last year, Dateline producer Carol Gable and correspondent Rob Stafford recorded two such couples who went through our four-day Intensive Therapy Program and followed them for six months afterwards. The result is a powerful documentary on "sexless marriage" and the Crucible Approach-the most common sexual problem for couples around the world, and possibly the most powerful treatment available.

Dateline Viewers: We're interested in your reactions and feedback about the show! Please fill our our survey.

    Volunteer for Research and Education

You can participate in our developing projects and research efforts. You can go through our four-day Intensive Therapy Program just like the couples on Dateline-NBC. Treatment is complementary to participating couples. Reduced-fee private Intensive Therapy sessions are also available within our research program (Sessions are recorded for research and teaching, but not broadcast on public media). Volunteer here.

    Review of "Passionate Marriage."

Town and Country Magazine featured Dr. Schnarch's book Passionate Marriage in their "T&C Guide to Sexuality" special issue of July, 2005. Health editor Janet Carlson Freed spent two days in Evergreen interviewing Dr. Schnarch, This wonderful article is possibly the best two-page description of our approach we've seen. You can read a copy of this article in our library, in case you missed it. "Of the many books I have read on the subject of sexuality and relationships, Passionate Marriage is far and away the best. It's at the top of my very short list of must-reads. It is brilliantly challenging and provocative, a book to be underlined, dog-eared and carried around for weeks." Janet Carlson Freed.
