WorkshopsThe Marriage and Family Health Center offers workshops for therapists or counselors and the general public.Using the Crucible Approach, therapist workshops offer the insights of Dr. Schnarch's original paradigm shift, leaving behind traditional pathology-oriented sex and marital therapy, and marriage counseling based on empathy, safety, and communication skills. For couples and women, public workshops presented jointly by the husband and wife team of Drs. Schnarch and Morehouse and based on the Passionate Marriage Approach, are a perfect way to dedicate a few days to help resolve lingering problems or deepen their marriage. Dr. Morehouse also offers an opportunity for women to participate in a retreat designed to address women's issues with relationships, transitions, and female sexuality. These experiences combine conceptually stimulating presentations, group discussion, and private time for you to contemplate what you're learning. Dr. Schnarch and Dr. Morehouse frequently speak at meetings or present workshops for other organizations. View our schedules for public presentations and sponsored workshops.
